For most of my life, my usual practice of dealing with money was not to deal with it. But burying my head in the sand and ignoring it never made it better – only worse. I felt embarrassed and ashamed.

Now I have clarity about my money. Best of all, I’m putting money into savings for future expenses and dreams. I never thought I would get to the point where I would do that.

I was extremely ashamed about my finances. I didn’t want to show Teresa (or anyone) where we were at financially. But I had been trapped in a cycle of scarcity for so long – no matter what I did. I wanted help because all my efforts at control only made me feel more OUT of control. I was exhausted.
What I discovered is that all my money issues were really a symptom of a bigger issue I had around my beliefs in God and myself. My work with Teresa transformed more than my relationship with money – it transformed my understanding and experience of God. For the first time in my life, I have truly felt the love and support of my Creator.
